CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The parents of a 6-year-old marathoner are talking out after they say little one protective providers paid their family an unannounced visit and questioned their children at house.
Ben and Kami Crawford shared a photo on Instagram Sunday purportedly of one of their kids being interviewed by a CPS staffer. In the accompanying caption, they wrote in part, "Yesterday Child Protecting Services (CPS) arrived at our house unannounced and interviewed our youngsters, dad and mom & grandmother. This is a scary process because often kids are interrogated away from dad and mom, in opposition to their will, and their answers decide the company's legal proper to take away the children."
The Crawfords made headlines final week after they let their kids, including their son Rainier, 6, run the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati on May 1 and shared it online.
