Apple has discontinued the iPod, 20 years after it was launched.
The US tech large stated its iconic music player has been changed by different gadgets, making the iPod redundant.
Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice-president of worldwide marketing, mentioned: "Right this moment, the spirit of iPod lives on.
"We have integrated an unimaginable music experience throughout all of our products, from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to HomePod mini, and across Mac, iPad, and Apple TV.
"And Apple Music delivers industry-leading sound quality with help for spatial audio - there isn't any better approach to get pleasure from, uncover, and expertise music."
In October 2001, Steve Jobs debuted the unique iPod and it was the primary MP3 participant that could maintain 1,000 songs and had a 10-hour battery life.
