A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Old Trustworthy geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay at the park, and they have injured more individuals than another animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here inside 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks have been also near the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and no less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
