A woman visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information launch from the park.
The woman approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Devoted geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison stay on the park, and they have injured extra folks than every other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor came within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park mentioned.
The girl had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different individuals have been also near the animal when it gored the girl, the park mentioned. The release didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
