A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information release from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison live at the park, they usually have injured more individuals than any other animal, the park stated.
When the visitor got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet in the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals were also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they were injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
