A woman visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officials mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a information launch from the park.
The woman approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it got here near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Outdated Faithful geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live at the park, they usually have injured more people than any other animal, the park said.
When the customer got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 feet within the air, the park mentioned.
The woman had puncture wounds and other accidents and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people had been additionally near the animal when it gored the woman, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they were injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and a minimum of 100 yards from bears and wolves.
