A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Previous Faithful geyser, the park said.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison reside at the park, and they have injured extra people than another animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft within the air, the park stated.
The woman had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service mentioned. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different people have been also near the animal when it gored the woman, the park stated. The discharge didn’t say in the event that they have been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
