Comic Andy Dick arrested on suspicion of sexual battery in California

Comic Andy Dick was arrested Wednesday at a campground in Orange County, California, on suspicion of sexual battery, authorities stated.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Division responded to O’Neill Regional Park round 9 a.m. after the grownup male sufferer called authorities a couple of potential sexual assault, said Sgt. Scott Steinle, a sheriff’s spokesman.

Dick, 56, was arrested on suspicion of felony sexual battery, Steinle said.

The sheriff’s department would not provide more particulars in regards to the nature of the allegations.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Workplace had not obtained the case Wednesday and has not made a charging choice, spokeswoman Kimberly Edds mentioned.

Deputies responded to a campground space of the 4,500-acre park near the Santa Ana Mountains in Southern California, where they met the sufferer and eventually arrested Dick, Steinle said.
