Household of Kidnapped Girl Claims Inaction of Dallas Police & Mavs in Intercourse Trafficking Case

DALLAS - A 15-year-old lady from North Richland Hills is now residence after being kidnapped by a man at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks game at American Airways Center. But the household still seeks answers, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not appearing swiftly sufficient relating to the crime, which had the lady as part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone lacking a total of 11 days,” lawyer Zeke Fortenberry mentioned. “Our intent is that means (the aforementioned organizations) are on discover that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for their negligence and other causes of motion.''

Fortenberry mentioned the teen’s father informed police at the recreation when he realized she was lacking. However, in accordance with the lawyer, the father was advised to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t able to assist as a result of the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking agency Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that worked to find the missing girl, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police told WFAA that they adopted protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the crew releasing the following assertion: “The American Airways Middle (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will proceed to cooperate with local and regional law enforcement on this case.''
