DALLAS - A 15-year-old girl from North Richland Hills is now house after being abducted by a person at an April 8 Dallas Mavericks recreation at American Airlines Heart. But the family still seeks solutions, and is charging the Mavs, the AAC and Dallas Police for not acting swiftly sufficient concerning the crime, which had the girl as a part of a sex-trafficking operation.

“She was gone missing a total of 11 days,” attorney Zeke Fortenberry said. “Our intent is that manner (the aforementioned organizations) are on notice that we’re pursuing claims in opposition to them for their negligence and other causes of action.''

Fortenberry mentioned the teen’s father informed police on the sport when he realized she was lacking. But, in accordance with the lawyer, the father was informed to report the allegations to his hometown North Richland Hills Police. 

Fortenberry claims NRH police stated they weren’t able to assist because the incident occurred in Dallas.

The legal professional stated it was the Houston-based human trafficking company Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative that labored to find the missing woman, who was being held in an Oklahoma Metropolis motel.

Dallas Police told WFAA that they followed protocol'' and that they aided North Richland Hills PD in the search.

The Mavs responded publicly on April 20, after the lady was found, the group releasing the following statement: “The American Airways Heart (and the Dallas Mavericks) are grateful that the teenager has been found.Each entities will continue to cooperate with native and regional law enforcement on this case.''
