Florida man gets life in jail for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors – WFTV

TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in jail for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met on-line, according to officials.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two different instances in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Courtroom records say he flew back and forth disguising himself as an English teacher.

A few of the boys, in keeping with the DOJ, have been lured with guarantees of money and gifts. Others launched him as their English trainer.
