TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in jail for touring to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, based on officials.

The U.S. Division of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two different occasions in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Court data say he flew forwards and backwards disguising himself as an English trainer.

Among the boys, in response to the DOJ, had been lured with promises of cash and items. Others introduced him as their English trainer.
