The police on the scene put a mom in handcuffs as she begged them to go in and save her children. They blocked mother and father attempting to organize to charge in to stop the shooter, together with a father who realized his daughter was murdered while he argued with the cops. We aren't free when politicians decide that the lobbyist and gun industries are more essential than our kids's freedom to go to high school with no need bulletproof backpacks and energetic shooter drills," Kapler wrote.
Later, Kapler wrote about his disillusionment with what he called "the lack of supply of the promise of what our nationwide anthem represents."
"I'm not okay with the state of this country. I wish I hadn't let my discomfort compromise my integrity. I want that I could have demonstrated what I discovered from my dad, that when you're dissatisfied together with your nation, you let or not it's recognized by protest. The home of the courageous ought to encourage this."
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger action towards gun violence in the USA.Kerr refused to talk about basketball ahead of Sport 4 of the Warriors' collection against the Dallas Mavericks, instead raising his voice as he railed in opposition to gun violence within the wake of Tuesday's taking pictures.
"In the final 10 days, we've had elderly Black individuals killed in a grocery store in Buffalo, we have had Asian churchgoers killed in Southern California, now we have now youngsters murdered at college," Kerr informed reporters in the beginning of the press conference.
"When are we going to do something? I'm drained. I'm so bored with getting up right here and offering condolences to the devastated families which can be out there ... I'm uninterested in the moments of silence. Enough."
