UVALDE, Texas - The husband of an elementary faculty instructor killed during a mass capturing in Uvalde, Texas has died of a coronary heart attack.

Family members inform FOX 26 Joe Garcia, the husband of Irma Garcia, died Thursday - just two days after his wife was tragically killed when a gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde and opened fire. 

Mrs. Garcia was one of two teachers, together with 19 college students who were killed in the deadly massacre.

Beto O'Rourke confronted Texas leaders as they held a press convention on the state's response to the deadly Uvalde college shooting. "You're doing nothing," O'Rourke informed the group as Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick was getting ready to converse.
