Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the road from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Both have been taken to a hospital and at the moment are in stable situation, officials mentioned. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
