BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of signs saying "school shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of charges.

Hanson allegedly positioned the signs across the communities, the Department of Safety said, but they determined there isn't any credible risk at the moment.
The New Hampshire Department of Safety is investigating indicators that read 'college shooter!' which were present in a number of communities New Hampshire Department of SafetyOne such signal was written on a paper plate. The security division released a photograph of the plate however blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of prison threatening and three misdemeanor fees together with false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
