BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "faculty shooter" were found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Security announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees.

An elevated amount of cops were placed at schools within the communities because of the signs. Multiple colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators around the communities, the Division of Security stated, but they determined there isn't any credible threat right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The protection division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of legal threatening and three misdemeanor costs including false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at the moment.
