BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "faculty shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of costs.

An elevated amount of police officers have been placed at schools in the communities on account of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly positioned the indicators around the communities, the Division of Security mentioned, but they determined there is no credible threat at this time.

One such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection division released a photo of the plate however blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor costs together with false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged right now.
