Fernando Dallorso, the final manager of Cipriani in New York, instructed the New York Instances that Zamperoni was a “dedicated arduous employee” who cooked six days per week and “never missed a day of work.”

The kitchen staff mourned the loss, Dallorso advised the Times.

“Everyone in the kitchen right now could be heartbroken, from the dishwasher to the chef,” Dallorso said.
