Russian spy airplane violates Swedish air house

A Russian reconnaissance plane briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish protection officers said on Saturday, as the Scandinavian country ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller aircraft violated Swedish airspace on Friday night,” the Swedish protection ministry said in a press release, including that its teams had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry said the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, earlier than it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's completely unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This action is unprofessional and given the final safety state of affairs very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should at all times be respected.”
