LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC/Grey Information) - An incident that concerned gamers from a university’s lacrosse team and deputies in Georgia remains underneath investigation.
WTOC reviews Delaware State University President Tony Allen launched an announcement on Monday responding to the incident that reportedly happened on April 20 in Liberty County.
Allen wrote Georgia legislation enforcement stopped a bus for a minor visitors violation with the Delaware State Lacrosse team on board. Deputies searched the belongings of the student-athletes, including suitcases with drug-sniffing dogs.
“100% you possibly can’t be in that left lane at all,” said a Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The staff was returning home from a sport in Florida and traveling by a contracted bus, in keeping with Allen.

Allen wrote that everybody was incensed over the incident.
Allen also added the following:
“We don't intend to let this or every other incident prefer it pass idly by. We are prepared to go wherever the evidence leads us. We've video. Now we have allies. Maybe extra significantly, we've the courage of our convictions.”
Allen concluded his statement by writing, “We will by no means be bullied into believing something apart from what we're: Americans, learners, lecturers, builders—useful and honorable folks ready to soar.”
