Afghanistan’s supreme chief and Taliban chief on Saturday ordered the nation’s women to put on the all-covering burqa in public - one of the harshest controls imposed on girls’s lives for the reason that Taliban seized energy.
“They need to wear a chadori (head-to-toe burqa) as it is traditional and respectful,” said a decree issued by Hibatullah Akhundzada that was released by Taliban authorities at a perform in Kabul.
“Those ladies who aren't too previous or young must cowl their face, besides the eyes, as per sharia directives, to be able to avoid provocation when assembly men who will not be mahram (adult close male relatives),” the decree stated.
It added that if women had no necessary work outdoors it was “higher they keep at house.”
During their first regime between 1996 and 2001, the Taliban imposed similar restrictions on girls.
