Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of agencies responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a youngster’s mom observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen never made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm together with several different agencies in an attempt to search out him.
The teen was found near the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old may very well be dealing with a felony weapons charge.
