Teen arrested after mother noticed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - Several companies responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center College around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it contained in the building, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm together with several other businesses in an attempt to find him.
The teenager was found close to the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old might be dealing with a felony weapons charge.
Police say there was no risk made to the college or anyone inside the varsity.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly placed on lockout because of the incident.
