The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Independent College District police pressure are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary School and the state's assessment of the regulation enforcement response, a number of regulation enforcement sources inform ABC Information.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent Faculty District did not instantly reply to requests for comment from ABC News.

In keeping with sources, the decision to cease cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news convention Friday during which he mentioned the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong resolution" and opposite to protocol.

The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an preliminary interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days in the past."

Final Tuesday's assault, one of the worst faculty shootings in U.S. historical past, left 19 youngsters and two adults lifeless.
