The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police force are now not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty and the state's assessment of the regulation enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC Information.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District didn't immediately respond to requests for remark from ABC Information.
In line with sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news convention Friday during which he said the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the fallacious resolution" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Security stated, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police offered an initial interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days in the past."
Last Tuesday's assault, one of many worst school shootings in U.S. historical past, left 19 kids and two adults dead.
