Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Big Macs every day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Huge Mac. I’ve counted each Large Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Massive Macs a day.

“All via life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of consuming Big Macs.’ I suppose I proved them flawed,” he said.

His son is just not stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had blissful meals. I always liked my chicken nuggets, and my brother all the time beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an on a regular basis life sort of thing for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a diversified eating regimen.

“I used to eat hen nuggets day by day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day by day, but eventually you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he actually does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect till he dies.
