Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs each day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak began on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Large Mac. I’ve counted every Big Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by means of life right here, lots of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be dead before you attain 50 years of eating Large Macs.’ I suppose I proved them mistaken,” he said.

His son is just not stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I at all times loved my rooster nuggets, and my brother always liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an on a regular basis life kind of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse weight loss program.

“I used to eat hen nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers every day, however eventually you just get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, however he certainly does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.

“A number of occasions people will say, ‘You seem like I’m eating a Large Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I assume that’s how I feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d reasonably eat,” he said.
