Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Massive Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count every Massive Mac. I’ve counted each Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by means of life right here, a lot of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be useless before you attain 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I guess I proved them improper,” he said.

His son is not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had happy meals. I all the time liked my rooster nuggets, and my brother always loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life type of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a various food plan.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets every single day. I used to eat cheeseburgers every single day, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he definitely does,” he said.

Gorske says he will proceed eating Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.

“Numerous occasions people will say, ‘You appear like I’m consuming a Huge Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I guess that’s how I feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d rather eat,” he stated.
