Teen arrested after mother observed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray News) - A number of agencies responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mom noticed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center Faculty around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teen by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the area together with a number of different agencies in an try to seek out him.
The teenager was found near the varsity’s campus and taken into custody.
