New York Lawyer Normal Letitia James will examine social media firms including Amazon's Twitch in connection to the apparently racially motivated capturing at a Buffalo supermarket that left 10 dead and three injured.

James' office will also deal with 4chan, 8chan and Discord, but isn't limited to these platforms, according to a news release printed Wednesday. Investigators will have a look at online assets the gunman "used to discuss and amplify his intentions and acts to hold out this attack."

The shooter initially livestreamed his actions to Twitch through the massacre at Tops grocery retailer on Saturday. Twenty-two people viewed the livestream before it was eliminated, in accordance with The Washington Post.
