Florida man gets life in jail for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors – WFTV

TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, in response to officials.

The U.S. Department of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two completely different instances in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Courtroom data say he flew backwards and forwards disguising himself as an English teacher.

A few of the boys, in accordance with the DOJ, had been lured with guarantees of money and items. Others introduced him as their English instructor.
