Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete safety barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.
A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.
The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.
Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.
There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Both had been taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officers mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.
They’re expected to face fees.
D.C. police are investigating.
