The household of an 11-year-old girl who survived the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother said the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed through the shooting.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was just crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I believe all the things got here to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two academics killed. Her associates and classmates were additionally targeted.

Rivera stated that is when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she may faux she was lifeless," said Rivera. Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been released.

"At this point, we just have to wish and ask God to help us move forward by this example, I know it is traumatizing as it is," said Rivera.
