The household of an 11-year-old girl who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed during the shooting.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and he or she was just crying, like 'I believe it just hit Miah. I believe all the things came to reality now,'" mentioned Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's trainer, Irma Garcia, was one of many two lecturers killed. Her pals and classmates have been also focused.

Rivera mentioned that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah received some blood and put it on herself so she may fake she was useless," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene over and over again, but that is what my sister-in-law stated is that she noticed her buddy full of blood and he or she received blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother mentioned she had bullet fragments in her again," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, stated the family is rallying around Miah to assist her get better physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this point, we simply have to pray and ask God to help us move forward by this case, I do know it is traumatizing as it is," mentioned Rivera.
