Days after at the very least 19 elementary school students and two lecturers have been killed in a mass capturing at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, students at colleges around the country staged walkouts to protest gun violence.
In Michigan, students at Oxford Excessive Faculty, where a college capturing occurred in November, staged a walkout at 12 p.m. on Thursday. 4 students had been killed within the taking pictures.

"You see information day-after-day about kids getting shot and folks your age dying and it is just incredibly sad and unbelievable, especially to see like children younger and children my age," Janoff told ABC News. "I cant imagine that being me; but it is possible because it happens so typically."
The 17 year-old says her college's administration was in assist of the walkout and she hopes the over 200 deliberate demonstrations across the nation ship a clear message that students are a "united front."
A walkout could not necessarily change legislation, Janoff mentioned, however these actions present "college students are nonetheless united on this."
She mentioned that though most college students aren't sufficiently old to vote, they still wish to see change and are keen to take measures to have their voices heard in politics.
"Students do not should be quiet about it simply because they seem to be a child," Janoff stated.
