Federal agents entered Uvalde college to kill gunman regardless of local police initially asking them to wait

Federal brokers who went to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 kids had been advised by local police to wait and never enter the varsity — after which determined after about half an hour to ignore that preliminary guidance and discover the shooter, say two senior federal law enforcement officers.
