Lev Vygotsky agrees that play is pivotal for children's growth, since they make significance of their surroundings through playing learning games. For Vygotsky, nevertheless, play is the first form of encyclopedism terminology and communication, and the stage where a child begins to see rules and symbols.[13] This has led to a view that encyclopedism in organisms is definitely accompanying to semiosis,[14] and often related with mimetic systems/activity.
