DALLAS - The excessive court will allow a wrongful loss of life lawsuit to proceed in opposition to town of Dallas and four cops.
The household of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.
Tony Timpa called police for help as he had a drug and psychological health crisis.

Town of Dallas argued the officers are legally protected from lawsuits.
The Supreme Courtroom upheld a federal appeals courtroom’s ruling that may allow the case to proceed.

"The choice signifies that the case can proceed to trial and that there can be no more delays from any appellate court.
