Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten flott den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in den Resultaten und recht bald entstanden Anstalt, die sich auf die Verbesserung ausgerichteten. In den Anfängen passierte der Antritt oft zu der Übermittlung der URL der entsprechenden Seite an die divergenten Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Web Server der Suchseiten, wo ein 2. Software, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die damaligen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die mithilfe der Webmaster selber vorhanden wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Internet Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick per Gehalt einer Seite, gewiss registrierte sich bald herab, dass die Anwendung er Hinweise nicht vertrauenswürdig war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Erläuterung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Webseiten bei charakteristischen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Punkte im Laufe des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu interagieren, dass die Seite überlegen in den Serps gelistet wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Kriterien abhängig waren, die nur in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Missbrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um überlegenere und relevantere Urteile in Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen im WWW an diese Rahmenbedingungen adaptieren. Weil der Gewinn einer Search Engine davon zusammenhängt, essentielle Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten untaugliche Ergebnisse dazu führen, dass sich die User nach weiteren Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten wofür Suche im Web umsehen. Die Lösung der Internet Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Platz, die Gesichtspunkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Suchmaschinen – eine Recherche, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
