Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in den Suchergebnissen und recht bald fand man Organisation, die sich auf die Verbesserung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen geschah die Aufnahme oft zu der Übertragung der URL der speziellen Seite bei der divergenten Internet Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Analyse der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein 2. Softwaresystem, der bekannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu anderweitigen Seiten). Die zeitigen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster selbst vorgegeben werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Netz wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Gesamtübersicht über den Thema einer Seite, allerdings setzte sich bald heraus, dass die Verwendung dieser Details nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der benutzten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Seiten bei einzigartigen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Merkmale innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite richtiger in Ergebnissen aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im Internet sehr auf Punkte dependent waren, die alleinig in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Abusus und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um höhere und relevantere Urteile in den Suchergebnissen zu bekommen, musste ich sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen an diese Voraussetzungen integrieren. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseiten davon abhängt, wichtigste Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten unangebrachte Testurteile dazu führen, dass sich die Nutzer nach anderweitigen Wege für die Suche im Web umsehen. Die Erwiderung der Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Positionierung, die Gesichtspunkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwickelten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Die Suchmaschine – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Suchalgorithmus basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Auch sonstige Suchmaschinen im Internet überzogen in Mitten der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Google
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
