Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer bevorzugten Listung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald fand man Betriebe, die sich auf die Besserung spezialisierten. In den Anfängen bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt der Antritt oft über die Übermittlung der URL der speziellen Seite in puncto diversen Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webseite auf den Web Server der Suchseite, wo ein zweites Programm, der gern genutzte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu anderweitigen Seiten). Die damaligen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Informationen, die mithilfe der Webmaster eigenhändig vorhanden wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Gegenstand einer Seite, gewiss registrierte sich bald hervor, dass die Nutzung er Vorschläge nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der benutzten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Seiten bei charakteristischen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller diverse Fähigkeiten im Laufe des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite passender in Suchergebnissen aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die neuzeitlichen Suchmaschinen sehr auf Gesichtspunkte dependent waren, die nur in Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um überlegenere und relevantere Testergebnisse in den Resultaten zu bekommen, musste ich sich die Inhaber der Search Engines an diese Gegebenheiten adjustieren. Weil der Triumph einer Suchmaschine davon abhängig ist, essentielle Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten untaugliche Urteile darin resultieren, dass sich die Anwender nach anderen Möglichkeiten wofür Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Search Engines vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Positionierung, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht manipulierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwickelten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Bing – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Algorithmus basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Auch weitere Suchmaschinen relevant zu Beginn der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. als der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Bing
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
