Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer bevorzugten Listung in Ergebnissen und recht bald entstanden Behörde, die sich auf die Optimierung ausgebildeten. In Anfängen vollzogen wurde der Antritt oft bezüglich der Übermittlung der URL der richtigen Seite in puncto divergenten Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Server der Suchseite, wo ein 2. Programm, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die zeitigen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster eigenständig vorhanden wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick via Inhalt einer Seite, gewiss registrierte sich bald raus, dass die Benutzung der Tipps nicht solide war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei besonderen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller unterschiedliche Punkte innerhalb des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite überlegen in Suchergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Punkte abhängig waren, die einzig in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Urteile in den Ergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Ereignisse integrieren. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseite davon abhängig ist, relevante Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten untaugliche Resultate darin resultieren, dass sich die Benutzer nach anderen Varianten für den Bereich Suche im Web umsehen. Die Rückmeldung der Suchmaschinen im Internet inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Platz, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwickelten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Die Suchmaschine – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
