- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die 1. Suchmaschinen im Netz an, das frühe Web zu ordnen. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer lieblings Listung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald entstanden Behörde, die sich auf die Verfeinerung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen erfolgte der Antritt oft zu der Übermittlung der URL der jeweiligen Seite in puncto verschiedenen Suchmaschinen im Netz. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Analyse der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Website auf den Webserver der Search Engine, wo ein weiteres Computerprogramm, der bekannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu diversen Seiten). Die damaligen Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die aufgrund der Webmaster selbst bestehen werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht via Content einer Seite, gewiss stellte sich bald hoch, dass die Benutzung dieser Vorschläge nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts reflektieren konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei besonderen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Eigenschaften binnen des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beeinflussen, dass die Seite größer in den Serps aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die späten Internet Suchmaschinen sehr auf Aspekte abhängig waren, die bloß in Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um tolle und relevantere Testurteile in den Resultaten zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Suchmaschinen im Internet an diese Ereignisse einstellen. Weil der Gewinn einer Suchmaschine davon abhängig ist, essentielle Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unangebrachte Testurteile darin resultieren, dass sich die Benutzer nach weiteren Chancen für den Bereich Suche im Web umsehen. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen im WWW inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rangordnung, die Gesichtspunkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin gestalteten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Bing – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
