- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die aller ersten Search Engines an, das frühe Web zu systematisieren. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in Serps und recht bald fand man Betriebe, die sich auf die Aufbesserung ausgebildeten. In den Anfängen passierte die Aufnahme oft über die Übertragung der URL der richtigen Seite an die vielfältigen Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Auswertung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Server der Suchmaschine, wo ein zweites Software, der sogenannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu weiteren Seiten). Die damaligen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die dank der Webmaster eigenständig bestehen werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick per Gehalt einer Seite, doch setzte sich bald hervor, dass die Einsatz er Ratschläge nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts widerspiegeln konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Kanten bei einzigartigen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Punkte innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu interagieren, dass die Seite größer in den Ergebnissen aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die frühen Search Engines sehr auf Merkmalen abhängig waren, die bloß in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr unsicher für Schindluder und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um höhere und relevantere Testergebnisse in Ergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Search Engines an diese Rahmenbedingungen einstellen. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseite davon anhängig ist, besondere Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten untaugliche Urteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach weiteren Varianten bei der Suche im Web umblicken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen im WWW inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rangordnung, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Yahoo – eine Suchseite, die auf einem mathematischen Algorithmus basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
